Daily Logs are the project's official day-by-day diary. Each log is tied to a single calendar date and collects entries across multiple categories — manpower, equipment, deliveries, inspections, visitors, phone calls, quantities, delays, and free-form notes. A complete daily log is your best defense in a schedule or payment dispute.

Create today's log

01

Open Daily Logs

From the project, go to Field Execution → Daily Logs. The list shows every date; today is pinned at the top.
02

Confirm weather

Weather is pulled automatically for the project address. Review the conditions and adjust if the auto-captured data doesn't match what you saw on site.
03

Add entries by type

Use the Add Entry menu and pick the relevant type:

  • Manpower — company/trade, headcount, hours, work performed.
  • Equipment — on-site equipment and hours used or idle.
  • Deliveries — material received, supplier, ticket number.
  • Visitors, Calls, Delays, Quantities, and Notes as needed.
04

Attach photos

Add photos directly to the log. They are also available from the project's Gallery.
05

Distribute the log

Click Distribute to email the day's summary to the project's daily-log recipients.

Troubleshooting

I can't edit an older log

Logs may lock after a configurable number of days to preserve the record. Ask your Project Admin to extend the edit window in daily-log settings.

Weather looks wrong

Weather follows the project address. If the address is missing or incorrect, update it in Project Information.
